Rail Production AS, a subsidiary of Nordic Infrastructure Group, has been awarded a one-year agreement to provide signalling technicians on standby duty for Spordrift AS in Kristiansand, Norway.
Rail Production estimates that the one-year contract will generate revenues of approximately NOK 1.3 million. The company will deliver the service in cooperation with SLAM Jernbaneteknikk AS. Rail Production’s customer, Spordrift AS, is Norway’s largest player in the operation and maintenance of railway infrastructure, with approximately 1,300 employees.
“We have several highly experienced signalling technicians in our team and look forward to supporting Spordrift in the Kristiansand region. Coordinating and providing this service is a non-complex task, but the expertise we provide is valuable to any company responsible for operating and maintaining railway infrastructure,” says Gjermund Sogn, managing director of Nordic Infrastructure Group, which is the parent company of Rail Production AS.
